Industries That Use Items Made With Plastic Injection Moulds

Many items we use in our every day lives are made using casts. The technology of Plastic Injection Moulds is used to make items in a variety of industries such as the automotive, medical, household, construction and recreational industries.

The process of making items using this method is a very simple one. A cast is made in the shape of an item that needs to be manufactured. Heated liquid plastic is poured into the chilled cast. The liquid is allowed to cool and hardens into the shape of the item being manufactured. After the item has cooled a blast of air pushes the newly formed item out of the cast. Several manufacturing companies offer the service of making items using this method.

The automotive industry uses this type of molding to manufacture many parts that are used for car assembly. Some of the parts manufactured by artificial casts include ignition assembly parts, side mirrors, door handles and steering wheels.

The medical industry uses many items that have been manufactured by artificial casts. Artificial hip and knee replacements, diagnostic monitors, surgical devices and needle plungers and vials are just some of a number of items used in the medical industry created with the injecting casts.

Several household items are also manufactured using injection casts. Blenders, printer parts, telephone shells and computer keyboards are all made using this type of technology.

The construction industry also uses many items and tools made using the method of artificial injecting. Drills, screwdrivers, hardhats, saws and sanders are just a few of many tools used in the construction industry made with artificial moulds.

Another industry that uses items created through the method of Plastic Injection Moulds is the recreational industry. ATVs, golf carts, and paint ball guns are just a few items that are made with this method.
